And after an issue about summer, we bring you an issue about the Back to School theme. It's such a bummer that the season of utter freedom and fun ended, but hey! Think about a new school year--a new 'restart' point. Downsides are you'll be dealing with exams, homework, and all that schoolwork most of us really hate. *sweatdrop* Upsides are you'll get to be with new classmates and teachers, as well as experience a whole new school year ahead of you. ;)

In this issue, we've added a couple of new sections you might like. ;) This was a pretty rushed issue, so we apologize if it disappoints you--our schedules really have been booked, but we do hope you enjoy!

The story of the past continues. After bading goodbye to Luna, Yuka runs away with determination to leave the academy premises and change it from the outside.

The first part shows Narumi as he desperately searches for his beloved senpai along with Misaki, finding her unconscious by the trees. Then the scene switches to the 'antagonist' side. Lying on his bed with prayers of recovering, the ESP tells Luna and Rei that they are the only ones who he truly trusts. Realizing that Yuka is against the ESP, Luna swears loyalty to him, even if no one else will. Knowing that Yuka had said goodbye to her first, she returns the farewell in tears, concluding that she and Yuka were now enemies.

The scene switches back to Narumi and co. Yuka wakes up and Narumi notices that her injuries were from a barrier. Misaki then says he received a call regarding the commotion she had caused with the ESP. Yuka then explains to them that she is planning to escape, resolving that she couldn't change the academy from the inside, so she would change it from the outside. Narumi, on the other hand, doesn't want her to leave. While Misaki prevents the men from outside to barge in the room, Yuka tells him to take care of the children Yukihira left, apologizing to him.

As she leaves the room from the window, Narumi catches her and tells her he won't let her leave, and that if she really was determined, he would go with her. And then he confesses his love for her once more. Yuka then tells him to let go of her, and that no one can ever replace Yukihira. She tells him to continue Izumi's work--to change the school from the inside, in his own way. Misaki then tells Narumi to let go of Yuka, the men outside on the verge of entering. In desperation, Narumi tries to use his alice but to no avail. Yuka uses her alice, stealing the part that could make a person fall in love. In tears, she teleports out of the place, leaving an unconscious Narumi and a shocked Misaki.

Teleporting to the HS Division, Yuka is seen by Shiki as he passes the hallway, helping her immediately with the HSP following. HSP then tells her that she wasn't detected most likely because of the Hii-sama's help. The girl then apologizes to them, saying that she has done something out of her own will. Soothing her, the HSP tells her he can help her escape even after receiving a call from those pursuing her. He then asks her if she already has the resolve of going outside, and of course she confirms so. In the midst of thought, he sees a light glowing on her stomach. With a bit of hesitation, he questions if she was carrying his brother's child. Surprised, Yuka asks him the same thing. Understanding that it was confirmed, she clutches her stomach and breaks into more tears. The chapter then ends with Mikan and co. watching, a cliffhanger with Mikan's eyes welling in tears.

Mikan is finally inside Yuka. What happens next? The end of this journey to history is nearing. Next chapter comes out on September 5 in Japan. Stay tuned!

• The Puppet Show (Recommended by Romantically Loveless) I couldn’t get my mind off this fic when I first started it. The way Heartbroken Confession gave each of the characters secretive names (But still made sense) was what added to its charm. Plus, you get to pick up one or two French phrases in this.
  
• Battle to be It (Recommended by Vione) The story is funny and entertaining, in my opinion. It's also well-written. And it's definitely about school, about the battle to be "It". And also, I love the ending.
  
• Crayons and Mikan Sakura (Recommended by Rosa en Bouton) Surely most of you have read this, and I've only read this recently. *sweatdrop* It's soooo cute and well, I love how Natsume acted here--KIDDY NATSUME IS KAWAII--and I kept giggling all the way. A good story to reminisce on childhood schooltime and it gives you this warm, fuzzy feeling. Up for something cute and light? Well, gotta say this is one of the cutest fics out there in the vast archive of GA fics. ;)

Tobita Yuu is the class representative of class 2-B and is most often known as “Iinchou” by his classmates. He’s a member of Latent Ability Class and is currently a Triple Star. During the Alice Festival, he works in the haunted house, using his Illusion Alice as a mean to scare the students away. He is known to be very gentle and kind to his classmates. Due to his gentleness and rather feminine appearance, he was mistaken as a girl once by Tonouchi.

He is also a very diligent and smart student. He was the top of the class too. His kindness and diligence are remarkable, hence we should take him as an example, ne? Pay attention more to the lessons and be polite like Tobita Yuu and it’s ensured that people, especially teachers, will love you! Fill the new school year with fun, like how Yuu has fun with his classmates! He doesn’t cause trouble but that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun without trouble, right?

Alice Times: So, when was the first time you wrote something? What was it?
sakuraheartz: My one-shot –Days Gone By. That story is dedicated to my childhood friend, Yus, who died last year on the 21st of July. I have to admit that it was emotionally draining but I guess it was my way of showing how much I love him.

AT: What was it that caused you to write?
sakuraheartz: It is my way of expressing myself, I guess. I mean, I’ve wrote stories in my diary before I found Fanfiction.Net. (Don’t bother searching for those diaries ‘cause I’ve burn them all >D) And the fact that I love the relationship between Natsume and Mikan –they make a cute couple don’t you think? ?

AT: What's your motivation?
sakuraheartz: Definitely my readers! People who alerted/reviewed/favourite me! They’re just amazing. I found myself trying to get better at my writing every time I read back to those reviews and PMs that I’ve received from them.

AT: Why Gakuen Alice?
sakuraheartz: ‘Cause Natsume-sama is the hottest anime guy ever! *cough* Excuse me. Truth to tell, I would never know Gakuen Alice if it wasn’t for Yus. He got me into reading/watching Gakuen Alice and the plot is somewhat different than the other anime.
At first, I was like, “Alice? Is it like...Alice in wonderland or something?”
AT: Where do you get your inspiration from?
sakuraheartz: Well, I never think about it before. I mean, the ideas just came to me like lightning bolts and the next thing I knew, I just started to write and developed the whole characters and plots. I never planned the story beforehand but I know what I want my story to be like or how the characters would act in a certain scene. I would write on a whim and it all depends on my mood to continue the story.

I guess I do admit that I add a little bit about my life into it and tweaked it so that it would fit in the story that I'm working on at that moment. A friend told me that my life is seriously dramatic, which was the reason why I'm good at writing stories. LOL! ‘Cause "you live with it..." she said.

"Which is good u know, it makes you life...interesting," she added. But seriously, it is interesting in a stressful kind of way. It is good for my stories but not for me. I would really love to avoid the drama and live peacefully. Sigh~
But my greatest influence is by listening to MUSIC! XD AT: What makes you WANT to read a fic? sakuraheartz: Catchy title, interesting summary and the story has to make sense. I prefer reading an AU story actually.

AT: Do you review every fic you read?
sakuraheartz: err...sometimes? I used to be a silent reader before I started to post my story over FFN. Like they said, “old habits die hard”. But I would most definitely review the fic if it leaves a great impact on me.

AT: What's your view on school right now?
sakuraheartz: School? It was fun! I’ve met a lot of people, learn to be independent and abuse my powers to actually get away from the class early. (I’m in the student body member...so :D don’t follow my example okay?)

AT: What type of student are/were you?
sakuraheartz: I’m a teacher’s pet actually :p I handed in my homework on time, I get okay results, I’m dedicated...well, you can say that I’m extrovert. I join a lot of clubs, I do volunteer works so there are times when I’m tired and actually sleep in the class but the teachers won’t mind. ‘Cause they know I’m going to pass the class anyway. :p

Hey there! You're probably wondering how this got here. Well, this is one of our newest sections--Fan of the Month.

This is a section in which you, the reader, can show how much you love Gakuen Alice. We all know that there are Very, very many fans of Tachibana Higuchi's work, but who are the few that are really into it?
